Choose a dress whose colors blend with the bride's. Bridesmaids' dresses are often used as a palette by moms! The dress you choose shouldn't be pink if their gowns are green. Don't walk into a dress shop without knowing how much you can spend, and then stick to that budget. If you find the right dress, you can spend a little more, but going over budget entirely isn't a good idea, unless it's a dress you can truly, truly wear again and again!
